With 32 components, SV More Aminobrain™ tablet provides a comprehensive formula that includes essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals required for optimum health.

Obtaining the right nutrients for optimum health from the regular diet alone can be very difficult. This is specially so in individuals with poor or restrictive diet, those on a weight loss program or reducing diet, or those with increased nutritional

demands during post operative states, periods of stress, illness and convalescence.

Elderly and aging individuals specially require a broad range of nutritional supplements as they have low food intake or may have restrictive diet due to chronic illnesses, intake of maintenance drugs and dental problems.

Comprehensive supplements of multivitamins and minerals like Aminobrain™ tablet gives broad protection to the elderly and aging individuals. In the elderly, deficiency of important nutrients like vitamin B-complex and minerals may lead to impaired mental functions. Also, lowered levels of antibodies may occur because of inadequate supplies of nutrients. The wide array of nutrients in Aminobrain™ tablet helps support the health of the nervous system, helps strengthen the immune system and prevents illnesses.

SV More Aminobrain™ tablet incorporates a wide array of vitamins, minerals and amino acids to provide the following benefits:

• As nutritional supplement to help enhance mental functions.
• As nutritional support in the management of protein, vitamin and mineral deficiencies associated with inadequate or deficient diet.
• As a supplement in cases where there are nutrient losses as in chronic illnesses, strenuous physical activities and traumatic injuries.
• As a supplement in conditions associated with protein loss or increased protein demands/nutritional requirements as in stress, convalescence, pregnancy, lactation, post-surgical operations, wounds, burns and bone fracture.

Apart from multivitamins, SV More Aminobrain™ tablet incorporates nutrients that support the health of the nervous system, B vitamins, minerals like magnesium and manganese plus special ingredients such as Lecithin and Taurine that are known for their mental-boosting properties.

Lecithin (Phosphatidylcholine) helps improve the mental well-being and memory of elderly people as well as patients with neurodegenerative disorders (i.e. Alzheimer’s disease). Lecithin is also useful in sustaining endurance in heavy physical and mental activities such as sports.

Lecithin is a major phospholipid that is essential in the functioning of every cell in our body. It is an important constituent of the cell membrane of different body tissues especially the liver, semen, myelin sheath of nerve cells and brain tissues.

Lecithin is also recommended as a helpful remedy for high blood cholesterol, abnormal involuntary muscle movement, and certain cancers. It also helps prevent neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease.

Taurine (2-aminoethane sulfonic acid), a sulfur-containing amino acid, is the most abundant major intracellular amino acid serving as building block of all other amino acids and is involved in various significant reactions inside the cell. Taurine is particularly abundant in the brain, white blood cells, retina of the eyes and tissues of the heart and skeletal muscles. Taurine concentrations in several organs including the brain decline with age. Decrease in taurine levels may be corrected by supplementation.

Taurine is said to have a protective effect on the brain. Taurine is reported to help in brain development and improves brain activity. Taurine regulates the transmission of nerve impulses along the nervous system by increasing acetylcholine levels.

Some studies reported that taurine deficiency may cause visual dysfunction. Taurine, an important biochemical substance involved in retinal function also aids in protecting the retina and in preventing age-related cataracts. Taurine also improves fat metabolism and gall bladder function. Because taurine is involved in conjugation reaction of bile acids to form bile salts, it is important in digestion and absorption of fats and fat soluble vitamins. Taurine also helps lower blood cholesterol levels.

Some studies reveal that taurine possesses antioxidant properties, increases the phagocytic and bactericidal activity of white blood cells, and can detoxify the body of toxic substances.

Taurine is also beneficial to patients with heart disorders. Taurine helps improve heartfunction.
It regulates heart rhythm by sparing loss of potassium from the heart muscle. Specifically, taurine normalizes potassium flow into the cells and regulates potassium levels thereby stabilizing cell membranes. Taurine can also prevent excessive blood clotting by decreasing blood viscosity.

Manganese is involved as a co-factor in many enzyme systems necessary for energy production and glucose metabolism. Manganese plays an important role in normal nervous system function. Some studies have shown that manganese can protect brain cells from diseases like stroke and Alzheimer’s disease. Manganese supplements have also been used to treat various forms of psychoses and other mental disturbances. Manganese is important in the formation of thyroxin, the principal hormone of the thyroid gland. Manganese helps improve memory, promotes healthy muscle reflexes, reduces nervous irritability and helps eliminate fatigue.

Magnesium is a co-factor for about a hundred enzymes involved in energy metabolism or various enzymatic reactions utilizing the energy storage molecule, ATP (Adenosine triphosphate). Magnesium is needed to promote proper neurochemical transmissions and is important for normal muscle function and proper nerve function. Magnesium is found in high concentrations inside the cells of the heart and brain. Like calcium, magnesium is required in nerve impulse transmission, playing a vital role in transmitting messages from hormones and other stimuli. Studies about magnesium dealt with its benefits in promoting functions of the nervous system, specifically neuromuscular activities. Magnesium has also been recommended in the treatment of neuromuscular nervous disorders and in fighting depression.

Symptoms of severe magnesium deficiency affecting the central nervous system include anorexia, personality or behavioral changes, muscle weaknesses, easy fatigability, vertigo, convulsions, nervousness, irritability and tremors.

The B vitamins as metabollic activators provide neurotrophic support. B vitamins are known for their nerve-soothing actions. As coenzymes of various metabollic processes, they help promote nourishment and proper functioning of the various systems of the body especially the nervous, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal systems.

Essential amino acids fortify the formulation of Aminobrain™ tablet. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which are vital for growth and repair of tissues, and are involved in the body’s immune system. Not all dietary protein sources have all the essential amino acids, which cannot be synthesized by the body and therefore have to be supplied externally. Certain clinical cases and conditions may necessitate not only daily supplementation of vitamins and minerals but also of the essential amino acids to meet increased nutritional requirement and to address nutrient losses. Aminobrain™ tablet combines the essential amino acids and substantial amounts of important vitamins such as vitamins A, C, D, and E as well as minerals that help in ensuring proper synthesis of proteins required by the body.
