Macrobee w/ iron (ref) Tablet

MULTIVITAMINS + Fe

MACROBEE™ w/ IRON (Ref)

Tablet

Hematinic with Minerals and Vitamin C

INTRODUCTION:

Blood is a highly complex and constantly changing tissue which is concerned with the transport of oxygen and cell nutrients, the elimination of wastes, and the maintenance of chemical equilibrium. Its intricate function and composition suggest the need for a considerable variety of nutrients which must be amply provided in the diet. Whenever one’s nutrition fails to offer adequate amounts of essential blood-building constituents, then supplemental hematinic/anti-anemic preparations must be given to maintain the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.

Conditions which necessitate supplemental of hematinic factors are:
– Iron deficiency anemia
– Iron insufficiencies in periods of rapid adolescent growth, pregnancy and lactation, excessive menstrual flow, and old age
– Iron deficiency anemia associated with traumatic or endogenous hemorrhages, gastrointestinal tract surgery and malnutrition
– Megaloblastic anemia

DESCRIPTION:

This particular formulation of MULTIVITAMINS + IRON (MACROBEE™ w/ IRON) Tablet is a therapeutic iron preparation reinforced with minerals and vitamin C for effective management of anemias among adults, adolescents, pregnant women, and the elderly. Its reliable and broad hematinic/anti-anemic efficacy is derived from the proven functional capacities of its constituted components. The primary ingredient is ferrous fumarate, a clinically proven hematopoietic factor that is most assimilable. Vitamin C and copper sulfate are also added for enhanced iron absorption and physiological utilization. Vitamin B12 and Folic acid further ensure wider anti-anemia coverage. These active substances which individually exhibit well-defined therapeutic actions and which mutually complement each other, place this superb preparation of MULTIVITAMINS + IRON (MACROBEE™ w/ IRON) Tablet in the class of select formulations which offer comprehensive coverage in the management of anemias.
